I have recently had 2 root canal appointments and can honestly say I couldn't have been treated any better. I only experienced very mild discomfort after both sessions (despite fearing the worst after all of the horror stories) and have never felt so at ease in the dentist chair. I would highly recommend this very professional, practice.

The Maryland Bridge that Ioannis at Burgate Dental fitted for my daughter has been superb. Along with the initial fitting we have been given a number of free check ups to make sure the Maryland is performing as it should and that there are no issues. We are over the moon with the treatment. As it was a front tooth we feel blessed to have found Burgate Dental Practice. Thank you

I travel for an hour to have my facial aesthetics done by Ioannis. He is fantastic at making my skin look so much smoother but still totally natural. People often say they can't even tell I have botox which I say is the whole point! I now wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you Ioannis and team!

I have no words to describe the exceptional service I receive from the team, and especially from Dr. Ioannis, the dentist. He took on a patient with numerous dental issues and, with patience and perseverance, is working diligently to improve the situation. So far, I am completely satisfied with their services and care. Another noteworthy aspect is that both Dr. Ioannis and the staff are incredibly polite, kind, and always willing to help.

Lucy, the hygienist, efficiently assisted by Alison, did a thorough job of cleaning my teeth. What I especially noticed was that there was absolutely no physical pain in the process- a really precision job! I was also given specific advice regarding care for my wisdom teeth. For those that find visiting a dentist practice daunting, there is the bonus of being in a beautiful and ancient building with the best views of the Cathedral! I recommend this Practice.

Everyone on the team is warm and welcoming. Ioannis is a great dentist, the surgeries are extremely modern and clean, and Ioannis makes things as near to pain free as possible. Thoroughly recommend, especially for a nervous patient like me.

Had my first hygienist appointment with lia today, she was amazing from start to finish. I was super nervous as I’ve not had this done before and my teeth can be a little sensitive, but she reassured me the whole time and made the experience great! Thank you so much Burgate dental. I now feel at ease to go ahead with the rest of my treatment plan.

The good service starts at reception. The staff are welcoming and friendly. You are not kept waiting and the reception area is small and comfortable. Ioannis and his dental nurse Isabel are friendly and put you at ease straight away. Everything is explained and talked about before they begin. I’m a very nervous patient and Ioannis and his team are excellent at dealing with patients like me. Thank you Isabel for your compassion and care. Thank you ioannis for your amazing dental care. Really grateful for the care and professional support given at every one of my visits. Excellent service all round!!!!

If only I went to Burgate DP before another allegedly good dentist forced a crown on my tooth causing the root to break, infection and a very traumatic extraction. Had I gone to Ioannis sooner, an extraction could have been avoided... His methods and equipment are unparalleled; a recent crown installation at Burgate has been a great success and it looks like a million bucks! I look forward to the implant now and can't recommend the practice enough. Best dentist in the area if not in the whole region! 🙏💗🦷😁

Amazing service all round. I cannot praise them enough from booking the appointments to the actual treatments. Infact I drive a 50 mile round trip because of these reasons. Most importantly I never feel judged whilst there . Thank you for being warm and friendly.

A very positive session with Natalia. I was a little nervous when I arrived but she put me at my ease straight away with her professional and caring approach. A very good job done and I felt so much better for it together with her wise advice as to how to maintain good care for my teeth until my next appointment.

What can I say. As a nervous patient who had been told by my NHS dentist that I may have to have a denture or implant due to infection in my root canal. I was devastated.After a recommendation from my orthodontist I researched this place. And I am so glad that I came here.My root canal has been repaired- no denture or implant in sight!I now have an appointment to replace my crown. I feel confident about this.Dana and the lovely dental nurse made me feel so at ease throughout the whole process. Dana was professional, thorough, empathic and clear.I absolutely recommend this dental practice.

Dana and Alison are wonderful: friendly; skilled; efficient. I'm moving away from Canterbury this year sadly, and I'd be surprised if I find a dentist and hygienist as good as they've been all these years.So many dentists seem to justify their existence by insisting on fillings at every opportunity. Burgate get the balance just right: preventative care when needed, but if things are fine, they'll leave alone.When I did need a filling a couple years ago (a pretty deep one), it was done brilliantly and I've had no issues.

Ioannis has been amazing along with his dental nurse Isabel. I was so nervous when I first went in as had bad experience with other dentist but everything was explained so well and what work I needed to have done. At the end of the appointment I felt relaxed. I’ve had many appointments to get my teeth sorted out and it’s been always been a relaxed environment very time and I no longer worry about going and would highly recommend going here if u are a nervous patient. Ioannis Tsiaousis is a reassuring dentist, more than happy to answer questions, and has sorted decades worth of my own neglect in a couple of appointments.....I will now be having regular preventative dental checks with him! Dr Ioannis Tsiaousis was very nice and very professional and explained the treatment required very clearly. All staff were very friendly and put me at ease . Burgate clinic came across as totally fit for purpose . Am happy with the service and will be back again soon .It's my second time to visit Burgate Dental Practice . The dentist Ioannis was as usual excellent and made me feel at ease when 2 xrays have been done to my teeth . I would describe him he have light hands because I didn't feel any pain on the instrument he put inside my mouth to take an xray . I didn't have good experience from a different dental practice last time. Anyway , after he looked at the images , he explained to me the options what treatments to be done to my teeth at valueable price not necessarily having few implants unless it's my choice if I want to and he said it will still made me look amazing for a beautiful smile . Am very confident of his expertise and so much looking forward when my treatment starts . thank you very much . xxHere I am 4th time around and this time it was with Dr Dana . She was very nice and she certainly got down to my roots! All I can say is she did a great job on my root canal. Looking forward to my next session at Burgate Dental Practice . Highly recommended . I was extremely satisfied with my experience at Burgate Dental Practice. They gave me a immediate appointment which I needed. Dr Tsiaousis was very nice and made me feel at ease immediately. He fixed the issue that I had with my tooth on the spot and reassured me that everything was fine. The price I paid was beyond expectation reasonable. The Practice is extremely clean and welcoming, and everyone from the receptionist to the assistant dentist was wonderful and very polite. I absolutely recommend this practice to everyone.

This is the best dental practice that I have ever been to. I actually look forward to my appointments with Dr Ioannis and his team. I had two widom roots extracted and the Receptionist called me several times to make sure I was healing properly. I am happy my dental plan and high level of professionalism. Thank you Dr. Ioannis and the Burgate Dental team.. you guys are the best.
